Residence

Our newly renovated rooms are meant to provide a “home-away-from-home” atmosphere and committed care from youth counsellors, elders, facilitators and directors. All residents our asked to respect their space and all shared and private spaces of others. Residents are provided with a queen sized bed, plenty of storage space and privacy while they visit us at Nimkee.

Residents are expected to follow a schedule, keep their area clean and respect other people’s rooms. Our staff understands that each person’s preferences and treatment plans are unique, and you may feel like that all hope is lost before entering treatment. We go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and are devoted to putting your recovery needs first.

Our facility consists of 15 beds in a variety of room options that will make you feel welcome and ready to begin your healing.

Services while participating in this plan include minimum weekly visits with psychologist, traditional elder/healer and circle participation. We have been at this a long time and the interventions are tailored for indigenous people. Throughout your day, it will be full and scheduled with activities designed to foster connectedness, hope, identity, meaning and empowerment.
